This week I’m doing my analysis over an article stated NAACP turns 100: Local branch plans year of celebrations. This is very important due to the fact that this month is African American Awareness Month. NAACP stands for National Association of American Colored People. This organization is to make sure people receive fair treatment not just African American but all races. This organization has accomplished a lot including helping African Americans enter war, and desegregating public schools as well. Since the NAACP was started 100 years ago we have seen a lot change in a very good way. I congratulate the NAACP, without organizations such as this one progress would have been more difficult to make with just one voice. I also like how they announce that they not only help African American’s but just people who feel that they were treated unfairly. I wish them another 100 years !
